In their own words

Stable history and big future: I’m proud to be a part of a company that is working on cutting-edge engineering technologies that impact the life of humans with a long-standing history. Siemens is a fantastic employer and offers a great amount of career diversity due to its broad regional presence and businesses.

Innovative apps: Mendix is one of the most innovative growth companies in the world — fundamentally reinventing the way applications are built in the digital enterprise. Mendix is changing the tech world with its transformational platform, while growing at a hypergrowth rate. We ask, “what if?” and work to find a way or make one. Unbound by convention, we disrupt, we dare, we are unafraid. We want to be what happens next.

Finding your purpose: I’m truly motivated by having a purpose – the need to contribute to a shared goal. In other words, the sense of belonging to a movement that is more than just one person. I love to build and work with high performing teams – where the team is stronger than the sum of the individuals.

Building teams: In my career I have found that the most important step to creating a high-performing team that encourages innovation, is to hire people who have experience outside the functional area / industry.

Capture the moment: I’m always inspired when I consider the camera. It’s an amazing invention as it enables us to capture a moment and provides the opportunity to go back in time.

Reach the peak: When I’m not in the office, you can find me on a mountain, either hiking, skiing, or mountain biking.
